On 18 March, it will be 110 years since the World War I Battle of Gallipoli has ended. The Turkish nation demonstrated countless acts of heroism and bravery in that war. To protect their homeland, many Beşiktaş athletes also sacrificed their lives in the 8-month fighting. 
 
Together with the Gallipoli Commander Mustafa Kemal Ataturk,  we respectfully and gratefully commemorate those who reached the levels of martyrdom at Dardanelles, including the athletes of our Club .
