The unshakable cornerstone of Turkish sports, the glorious Beşiktaş will be marking its 122th anniversary  this month.  
 
Founded by 22 youngsters at Beşiktaş District of Istanbul on 19 March 1903, Beşiktaş JK went through some difficult times and sacrificed countless martyrs for the Turkish homeland over the years. However, thanks to the love and support of millions of Beşiktaş fans from around the globe, it has now taken its place among the world's leading sports clubs.
 
Throughout these 122 years, Beşiktaş has always been a pioneer in Turkish sports, achieving firsts in numerous disciplines. As epitome of fair play and sportsmanship, the club have always competed with honor and integrity.
 
Beşiktaş not only happens to be Türkiye's first offical sports club, but  is also the club the Founder of Turkish Republic Ataturk supported and trusted. As the administrator of this great club, we will continue to work with determination to create a better future for our beloved Beşiktaş. 
 
With this opportunity, I would like to congratulate all Beşiktaş fans around the world on the 122nd anniversary of our club and express my gratitude to those who have contributed to the success of Beşiktaş.
