Today, for the first time, I am addressing you as the Chairman of Beşiktaş Gymnastics Club.  As you all know, in line with our Club Charter,  I assumed this honorable duty after the unexpected resignation of Mr. Hasan Arat.    

Our glorious 121-year-old Beşiktaş is currently going through a difficult period.  I believe that we can we can overcome our challenges only with the support and consensus of our community.

In this respect, our Board of Directors has decided to hold an Elective Extraordinary General Meeting in accordance with  Article 27 of our Charter. The said meeting will convene within 30 days to elect the new Beşiktaş Chairman and Board of Directors.

The leadership of great Beşiktaş community should gain legitimacy with the approval and  support of  Beşiktaş Members of the Club’s General Assembly.

Beşiktaş' problems need urgent solutions. Finding  solution to these problems is the responsibility of all Beşiktaş lovers.  Therefore, I invite all Beşiktaş General Assembly Members to vote as a sign of our unity and solidarity.  Every vote will carry Beşiktaş into a brighter future. I am confident that the new administration will spare no effort to keep the Black and White flag flying high.  

My final word is to our loyal supporters...  Our football team is entrusted to you during this time. Be positive and stay supportive!  Let us not forget, the real owner of this Club are the members and supporters of Beşiktaş.
