“Today, we celebrate the 103rd Anniversary of our Republic.
 
The struggle for Turkish independence, initiated by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, culminated in the proclamation of the Turkish Republic by the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye on 29 October 1923.
 
We will always safeguard this great legacy left to us by a great leader who expressed his profound belief in the Republic with the words, "Freedom and independence are our character".
 
We will also continue to move forward on  the path illuminated by the principles and revolutions of Ataturk—who was a devoted supporter of Beşiktaş.
 
On this occasion, I  commemorate the founder of Turkish Republic  Ataturk, his comrades-in-arms, and all our martyrs with deep respect and gratitude.
 
Reaffirming my belief that our Republic, which has shone brightly for 103 years and will endure forever, I extend my most heartfelt congratulations to our cherished nation on this Republic Day.”
