In his Turkish League game against K.D.Ç. Karabükspor , Beşiktaş RMK Marine wheelchair basketball team’s player Kaan Dalay was awarded two free throws at a time the score was real close. Dalay told the refeere that there was no foul, but the offical would not change his decision.
 
Then the veteran guard got to the free-throw line and missed the both shots intentionally by rolling the ball softly on the floor. His gesture shocked almost everyone in the hall but also drew a lot of applause. “Regardless of the score, this is just a game. As Beşiktaş players, we must stick to the good sportsmanship at all times. Our ethics should always come first,” said Dalay after the game which the Black Eagles won by a mere two points.
