Mirsad Kovaçeviç

Biography

Mirsad Kovaçeviç (born 1956 in former Yugoslavia) was one of the most prolific strikers in Beşiktaş JK history. He joined the Club from GNK Sloboda Tuzla in 1984 and spent two great seasons with the Black Eagles, scoring 34 goals in 70 league matches. His 17 goals helped the Black and Whites win the Turkish National League in 1985-86 season. He switched to Galatasaray SK the following season and retired from active football in 1990.
