Ronaldo Guiaro

Biography

The consistent Brazilian centre-back Ronaldo Guario (born 1974 in Sao Paulo) joined SL Benfica in 1966 and after five seasons with the Portuguese outfit moved to Beşiktaş JK. In 2002-03 season, he only missed one league match and netted 7 times as the Black Eagles captured the national title after an eight-year drought. Aged 31, Ronaldo returned to his country in 2005, but two years later, moved abroad again, this time to be a defensive mainstay with Aris Thessaloniki in the Greek First Division, helping them qualify three times to the UEFA Cup/ UEFA Europa League.
