Ali Gültiken
Biography
Ali Gültiken (born 1965 in Istanbul) joined Beşiktaş youth system in 1983 and got promoted to the senior team a year later. He netted 91 goals in 262 league matches. Gültiken reached the peak of his career after scoring 30 goals in 38 matches during 1987-88 season. He won 5 League titles, 3 Turkish Cups and 4 Presidency Cups with Black Eagles. He made 38 international appearances for the Turkish national team.
After his retirement from active football in 1996, he coached Hatayspor, Mersin İdman Yurdu and Erzurumspor. When Mustafa Denizli joined the Iranian side PAS Tehran as manager in 2004, Gültiken became his assistant. In 2007, he served as Beşiktaş JK’s football director for one season.
