Feyyaz Uçar

Biography

The prolific striker (born 1963 in Istanbul) was a product of Beşiktaş JK youth system and made his debut for the Black Eagles in 1982. Nicknamed “Mr. Goal,” he still holds the club record in most League goals scored with 170 goals in 16 seasons. He won the League scoring title during 1989-90 season with 28 goals. He notched up 4 League titles, 3 Turkish Cups and 4 Presidency Cups at Beşiktaş JK. He has 30 international caps with the Turkish national team. After his retirement from active football in 1997, Uçar took up coaching and his coaching stints included Çanakkale Dardanelspor, Göztepe SK, Denizlispor, Beşiktaş JK, Karşıyaka, Malatyaspor, Mardinspor and Altay.
