Beşiktaş JK’s unforgettable striker Sanlı Sarıalioğlu (born 1945 in Istanbul) played 14 straight seasons for the Black Eagles, scoring 65 goals in 314 league matches. He made 21 international appearances with the Turkish national side. After his retirement in 1975, he took up coaching, but he now works as a sports columnist.
