Sabri Dino (1942- 1990) started his football career with Tarabya at age of 14. Beşiktaş JK acquired the promising goalkeeper from Beyoğluspor in 1964. Starting from 1966-67 season, he played 194 league matches for the Black Eagles, second most after Necmi Mutlu. The highly-talented Dino made 12 international appearances for the Turkish national side. After his retirement from football, he went into textile business and committed suicide in 1990 for financial reasons. He will always be remembered as one of the greatest.
