The Black Eagles’ unforgettable goalkeeper Necmi Mutlu (born 1937 in Istanbul) moved to Beşiktaş JK from Beykoz in 1958. During his 11 seasons, he played a club record 241 league matches and won 3 league titles. He made 7 appearances for the Turkish national team. After his retirement from active football, he served as assistant manger and goalkeeping coach for the Black and Whites.
