After joining Beşiktaş JK from Antalyaspor in 1957, Köstepen (born 1934 in Aydın) became an indispensable defensive midfielder for the Black Eagles, netting 7 goals in 332 league matches. He won 4 league titles with Black and Whites. The 3-time Turkish international, worked as a football manager after his retirement in 1970.
