The Black Eagles’ legendary left-back Zekeriya Alp (born 1948 in Istanbul) joined Beşiktaş JK from Feriköy FC in 1968. During his 11 seasons with the club, he played 204 league matches and scored 6 goals. The 22-time Turkish international won a Turkish Cup with Eagles. After his retirement in 1978, he took up managerial positions at Beşiktaş JK.
