Rasim Kara
Biography
Beşiktaş JK acquired goalkeeper Rasim Kara (born 1950 in Eskişehir) from Bursaspor and played him in the goal for 9 straight seasons. After helping his team to the Turkish national league title during 1975-76 season, Kara retired from active football in 1984 to take coaching. Following a brief stint with the national side as assistant manager, he coached Bursaspor, Çanakkale Dardanelspor, Rizespor, Kocaelispor and Ottawa Wizards of Canada. Still an active coach, Kara managed the Black Eagles in 1997-98 season and led them to the Champions League group stages.
