A natural striker with an eye for spectacular goals, Karayiğit (born 1927 in Salihli) joined Beşiktaş JK in 1950 and played 9 straight seasons. He won 1 Turkish, 3 Istanbul League Championships and 2 Federation Cups wit the Black Eagles. After his retirement from football, the 11-time Turkish international served at the Beşiktaş JK Council for many years, and at one time, coached club’s junior team.
