A scrappy midfielder with a lot of pace and excellent technique, Özmenç (1930-1990) joined Beşiktaş JK youth system from Kadırga in 1947. He got promoted to the senior team in 1949 and won 3 Istanbul, 2 National League titles, making 239 appearances with 9 goals. During his 8 seasons, he picked up 8 international caps for turkey.
