An unforgettable striker of the 1950s, Şevket Yorulmaz (1926-1997) started his career at Konya İdmanyurdu and soon was snapped up by Beşiktaş JK, where he won the league scoring title during 1951-52 and 1952-53 seasons. A quick and prolific goal scorer with an eye for goal made 3 international appearances for the Turkish national side. He served for the club at various positions after his retirement from football.
