Left-back Hüsnü Savman (1908-1945) played for Beşiktaş JK from 1926 to 1943. During his 17 seasons, he won 1 National League, 1 Turkish Championship and 6 Istanbul League Championships with the Black Eagles. He was the first Eagle ever to play for the Turkish national team and earned 8 international caps. He died at age of 37.
