For their former Captain Necip Uysal, Beşiktaş held a farewell ceremony at the Tupras Stadium before the team’s Trendyol Super League match against Eyupspor tonight.
 
Necip Uysal—a product of Beşiktaş youth academy, played a pivotal role in Beşiktaş’ 4 Super League,  4 Turkish Cup, and 2 Super Cup titles, ranks among the players with the most appearances and longest tenure as team captain—has concluded his active football career after 22 years at Beşiktaş.
 
Beşiktaş supporters applauded the veteran player Necip Uysal for several minutes while chanting in his honor.
