I have a calm playing style focused solely on making saves, and I like to get a touch on every ball that comes my way. I value playing as part of the team. I am also good during corner kicks; I would say that is my greatest strength.
 
We were devastated to lose to Paraguay on penalties at the World Cup. Nevertheless, gaining that kind of experience—participating in the World Cup—is every player's dream. Being part of the German national team taught me a lot.
 
Pressure always gives me more energy. You have to be mentally strong at all times because a single mistake can lead to a goal; that is why your mental strength must remain high. The fans have often backed me during my difficult times, giving me the energy to look ahead.
