Beşiktaş have appointed Giovanni van Bronckhorst  as the new manager of Black Eagles on a two-year contract with the option of an extra year. Jean Paul van Gastel and Serdar Topraktepe are going to be his assistants.

Bronckhorst  (born 1975 in Rotterdam, Netherlands) played for prominent European teams such as Feyenoord, Glasgow Rangers, Arsenal and Barcelona as left-back and made 106 appearances for the Dutch national team. After retiring from active football with numerous European titles in 2010, he coached Feyenoord, Guangzhou City and Glasgow Rangers.
