A farewell event was held for the Beşiktaş Captain Atiba Hutchinson, whose contract with the Black Eagles is about to expire, at the Club’s  training facilities today.

Beşiktaş Legend Atiba Hutchinson made an emotional speech to the team and said: “Thank you so much everyone. It's been ten years since I walked through this door. During that period, I got nothing but love and respect from everyone at Beşiktaş. Therefore, I've always felt at home here. I would like to thank Deputy Chairman Emre Kocadağ and Coach Şenol Güneş for the support they have given me.  Everything I experienced here in ten years was beautiful. Now, I have to say goodbye. Beşiktaş is definitely a great place to play football. My teammates and I won three Turkish national titles with Beşiktaş. Those teammates  always pushed me forward. I am grateful to them for everything they have given me. I have always tried to do my best on the pitch."

Beşiktaş Deputy Chairman  Emre Kocadağ, Football Operations Director Ceyhun Kazancı, Manager Şenol Güneş, senior team coaches, players and staff   thanked the Canadian international midfielder  Hutchinson, who had an important share in the three Turkish Super League, one Turkish Cup and one Super Cup titles  won by the Black Eagles, for all his efforts and wished him success in his future career.
