After being put together in 2013, Beşiktaş JK women’s football team competed in the newly-formed Turkish Division III during the 2014/15 season. They finished the regular season in second place but beat Ağrı Birlik Spor 2-1 in the play-off final to move up to the Division II as champions. The Mutlucan Zavotçu’s women repeated the same performance in the Division II this season and secured a promotion to the Turkey’s top division with a perfect record and two matches at hand.
