The left-footed Armenian right winger (born 1990 Istanbul, Turkey) is a product of Ajax Youth Academy of Holland. After making the Ajax’s first team, he joined FC Kuban Krasnodar of Russian Premier League in 2012, and a season later, moved to the mighty Spartak Moscow. He has made 22 appearances for the Armenian national team with 4 goals. Beşiktaş signed him during the winter break of the 2015-16 season.
