The visiting Black and Whites started out their third Ziraat Bank Turkish Cup group match on the road rather slow but still managed to jump in front 1-0 one minute before the half-time through a brilliant finish from Jose Sosa. But, the Second Division home side levelled the matters on 66 minutes with Yüksel.  Beşiktaş searched for the winner in the remainder of the game with no avail.
