Beşiktaş women’s football team defeated the regular-season group leaders Fatih Vatan Spor, to whom they previously lost twice, 3-1 in the extra-time and progressed to the Turkish Division III play-off semi-finals. Despite falling 1-0 behind early in the second half, the Lady Eagles sent the game into the additional 30 minutes with an 81st-minute Gizem Gönültaş goal. They added two more in the extra-time through subs Ayşe Sevval and Başak Gündoğdu to keep their promotion hopes alive. If Beşiktaş Women win their next knock-out match, they will get promoted to the Division II.
