On Matchday 11 of the Turkish Super League, the visiting Black Eagles dominated the first 45 minutes from the opening whistle, only to see the home side’s solid defence keep them scoreless at the interval. Beşiktaş looked more determined at the outset of the second half as Demba Ba found the back of the net within a span of three minutes to give the Eagles a two-goal cushion going into the final half-hour. Musa Çağıran closed the deficit to one with 7 minutes to play, but Beşiktaş held firm for the three welcome points as they moved up to the top of the table once again.
