Beşiktaş 1-1 Gençlerbirliği

Beşiktaş played to a one-all draw with the visitors Gençlerbirliği tonight, and since the second-place holders Galatasaray won their game, finished the 2013-14 Super League season in third place. Starting the game with a minute of silence for the Soma mine victims, the Black and Whites took the lead on 35 minutes through a perfect diving header from Almeida, but the Ankara City side answered back with Mervan Çelik at the 58th minute mark. After Almeida missed a penalty-kick in the 74th-minute, the Eagles lost their composure and had to settle for a point. They now have to play qualifying rounds for the Champions League. Congratulations boys, despite the construction on your home ground, you did  a hell of work this season!
