Men’s handball team acquired David Rasic (born1986 in Serbia) from Maccabi Tel Aviv. With Metalo Plastika of Serbia, the prolific scorer won the European Champions League twice. He averaged 5 goals a game in the Israeli League during 2012-13 season.
