Beşiktaş bid farewell to Inonu with 3-0 win over Gençlerbirliği
In their last match at the Inonu Stadium, which will be torn down on June to make room for a new one, the Eagles gave the full-house home crowd something to remember. After Veli Kavlak put them ahead with a bullet from outside the box that hit the crossbar and dropped in, Olcay Şahan added a second just before the half-time. The sprited Beşiktaş refused to slow down in the second half as Holosko made it 3-0 following a perfect one-two with Mustafa Pektemek on 73 minutes to keep the currently third-placed Eagles' Champions League hopes alive.
