Holosko put the Eagles ahead as early as the third minute when he blasted one in from an extremely tight angle. While the visitors were trying to regroup, the Czech international scored his second through a close-range header and gave Beşiktaş an early two-goal cushion. The play turned into a midfield battle after the early goals, but the Eagles had an appetite for one more before the half-time as defender Hilbert broke loose from the right flank and found the net with a ferocious drive on 39 minutes.
Akhisar pulled one back through Mustafa in the second half, but Beşiktaş held on to win 3-1 and pocket all three points. The win moved the Eagles to the top of table with the leaders having a game at hand.
