Visiting Eagles started the game at the Abdi İpekçi Sports Hall with a lineup of Serhat Çetin, Hawkins, Arroyo, Barış and Mensah-Bonsu only to find themselves down by 8 after the first quarter, 19-11. They continued to defend poorly in the second stanza as their hosts went on to build a 42-28 cushion at the break. However, Beşiktaş roared back to life in the third and remained within reach until the closing stages. If Arroyo’s last-second three-pointer had dropped  through the net instead of rattling out, the Black and Whites would have even won the battle. Zoran Erceg was the top-scorer for Eagles with 23 points.
