Thanks to an 18th-minute header from Almedia, the Black and Whites went back to dressing room at the intermission holding a 1-0 lead. Portuguese star Quaresma added two more in the second half before Fernandes put the game out of visitor’s reach with a cracking goal on 88 minutes. Manisaspor pulled one back through Ferhat in stoppage time, but it was too little and too late.
