Beşiktaş men’s basketball’s coach congratulated his players after the Hacettepe University victory.

‘By winning all our three games and making the quarterfinals, we have successfully completed the first phase of the Turkish Cup. We played first-class basketball especially in the first half. Therefore, I’d like to congratulate my players on their solid effort. Our bench players, such as Kartal who is only 16, got some great playing time in the second half, giving our starters the ability to rest after three games in as many days. We are now concentrating our Turkish League opener.’
