Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s Basketball Coach Aziz Akkaya and Captain yasemin Horasan shared their feelings with the press after his team’s elimination from the Turkish Cup.

Aziz Akkaya : First of all, I am quite disappointed with the result. Getting knocked out at this stage of the tournament is huge pains to all. They managed to keep our key players Kelly Santos and Iveta Salkauske contained the entire game, so as the score indicates, we had a hard time for putting  up points on the board. The officials  were not in not their top form in either. They made a lot of questionable calls that went Tarsus’ way.    
We are having an up and down season this year and must  straighten up before the playoffs. We face Tarsus again in a League game this week. We hope to do better in that one.
Yasemin Horasan: This was a crucial game for us. We wanted to show everyone that we are a real contender. But for some reason we couldn’t get our offense going tonight. We will be ready for the playoffs.
