In the aftermath of the game, our Handball Team’s triumphant players, who made Turkish Handball History by raeching the semifinal stage of the European Challange Cup, celebrated the hard-fought victory together with fans. Utku Ergüder, who was exteremely instrumental in Beşiktaş’s win, said, “We want to finish first and lift that Cup.”

Later on, our Board Members also joined in the celebrations after the match we obtained a 26-23 victory.
MÜFİT ARIN: “We Achieved a First”
After the game, Müfit Arın, the Head Coach of Beşiktaş Men’s Handball talked to the press:
“Due to high quality players and tactics, the course of the game changes very quickly in European competitions.  The team which remains calm and sticks to its game plan until the final buzzer has an advantage over the others. That’s what we have tried to establish and looked for the open man out there. Beşiktaş is a team of firsts and with this precious win, we’ve also achived a first in Turkish Handball History. I congratulate everyone involved and thank all our fans for their unconditional support.”
TARIK CENGİZ: “I hope Beşiktaş Goes All the Way”
The President of Turkish Handball Federation Tarık Cengiz commented on the massive victory that carried Beşiktaş into the semifinals:
“I am extremely proud of this result because this is the first time a Turkish Handball Team has ever reached the semifinals stage of the Challenge Cup. It is definitely a giant step forward for Turkish Handball. Since I will be the one who will present this season’s Cup, I hope Beşiktaş goes all the way and wins it. I would like to express my congratulations to everyone who made this victory possible.” 
BİLAL EYÜBOĞLU: “Unlimited Thanks”
Our Team Manager Bilal Eyüboğlu expressed his feelings after the game:
“Today, as a team of firsts, we share the joy of making Turkish Handaball history. Now, we want to make the final. My unlimited thanks go to our President Yıldırım Demirören, Members of the Board, the President Turkish Handball Federation Mr. Tarık Cengiz and our devoted fans who all played an important part in our success.”
UTKU ERGÜDER: “We Want to Lift That Cup”
Utku Ergüder, who was a major factor in getting the victory, also experesed his views:
“I want to especially thank the Fans because we wouldn’t be here without them. We have showed everyone what we are capable of if our fans come out and support us.
