“It was a tough derby match, but we played exceptionally well in the second half. We also missed a few clear-cut chances along the way.

Our morale took a bit of a hit when we fell behind, but we bounced back quickly and showed everyone that we are a good team. We are happy to have won at Kadıköy. We need to keep building on this momentum.

I could have taken the shot for the second goal myself, but I knew Vlahovic would be there. Vlahovic is a top-level player who is hungry for goals. We are happy to have him with us.”
