Black and Whites started their Final-Four opener in Hungary uncharacteristically cold and were down 17-13 after quarter one. They found their way back into game in the second stanza, however, and managed to pull ahead 33-30 at the break.  Thanks to a tenacious defense, the Eagles kept their hosts away from the basket in the third quarter to stretch their lead to 47-40 heading into fourth, Despite a late Szolnoki rally, which tied the game at 56-56 in the closing minutes, Beşiktaş held on to win by four en route to Sunday’s final.  Zoran Erceg led the Eagles with 17 points followed by Hawkins, who chipped in 13.
