Taking the court with Mensah, Hawkins, Ersin, Can and Serhat, they traded buckets throughout the opening quarter but were down 24-22 going into the second. Despite a brief surge triggered by hot-shooting Hawkins, Galatasaray nursed a 39-38 lead at the break.
 
In the second half, Beşiktaş Milangaz played suffocating defence and managed to open up a 59-51 lead after three quarters. The final stanza was all Black Eagles as they sailed to a well-deserved 8-point win and handed Galatasaray their second loss of the season. Hawkings led Beşiktaş Milangaz with 21 points while Zoran Erceg poured in 17.
