Biography
The Czech international defender (born 15 September 1983 in Pelhrimov) came to prominence playing for Serie A side Udinese, but injuries eventually limited his performance as he was loaned to Sparta Prague, where he quickly became the captain of the team. He started for the Czech national team 11 times. He signed a 4+1 contract with Beşiktaş in 2008.
