In their search for a spot in the playoffs, Beşiktaş Sompo Japan Men’s Basketball picked up an important victory on the road today. With a starting line-up of Bobby Brown, Randy Culpepper, Tremmell Darden, Lamont Hamilton, Chinemelu Elonu, the Black and Whites trailed their hosts 48-46 at the break. However, they were definitely the better team in the second half as they dominated at both ends of the court en route to a well-earned, double-digit victory in Ankara.  Randy Culpepper’s 22 points led Beşiktaş, while Maciej Lampe posted a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
