Powered by tenacious defense and a flurry of driving layups, the home team Galatasaray opened up a 23-13 lead after the first quarter and stretched it to 39-26 at the break. As the second half saw the hosts run away with string of unanswered buckets from inside and out, Cappie Pondexter tried to keep the injury-depleted Beşiktaş in the game, but with no real chance of recovering the lost ground. While Pondexter finished with 19 points, Jelena  Milovanovic had 12 points for the Lady Eagles in her debut.
