Beşiktaş JK men’s basketball team has strengthened its roster with two centers today.
Lamont Hamilton
The experienced power- forward/center (born 1984 in New York, USA) played his college basketball at St. John’s University and was named to the All-Big East Conference First Team in 2007. He then switched to Europe and had stints with teams such as Tenerife, Paris-Levallois, Bilbao Basket, Laboral Kutxa and Krasny Oktyabr. The 2.08 m tall American joined Beşiktaş in 2015.
Emre Bayav
The 2.15 m tall center (born 1987 in Istanbul, Turkey) moved to Beşiktaş from Darüşşafaka & Doğuş in 2015. His previous clubs include Efes Pilsen, Pınar karşıyaka, Aliağa Petkim, Erdemirspor and Royal Halı Gaziantep. He played for the Turkish national team at various age levels.
