Galatasaray 2-0 Beşiktaş

The Black Eagles battled hard for supremacy early on, but the Super League leaders Galatasaray went ahead after 11 minutes, through Yasin Öztekin. In search of a quick equaliser, Besiktas applied a lot of pressure from that moment onwards, only to see the home team hold onto their one-goal advantage going into the interval.
 
Beşiktaş continued to be the dominant side in the second half but could not beat Fernando Muslera who made several clutch saves to keep his outfit in front. Then an 80th-minute Wesley Sneijder strike from outside the box secured all three points for Galatasaray.
