Trabzonspor 0-2 Beşiktaş

Thanks to second-half goals, Beşiktaş picked up valuable three points at Trabzon tonight and remained at the top of the Super League table. Unable to penetrate each other’s defence, the two sides relied on long-range shots in the first half but failed to register anything on the scoresheet.
 
With the addition of Demba Ba, Beşiktaş looked more attacking in the second frame, and the Senegalese striker did not disappoint his fans as he fired a low effort to the bottom left corner from the penalty area to send the Eagles 1-0 up on 58 minutes. The home team Trabzonspor desperately searched for the equaliser after the goal but could not breach Beşiktaş’ solid defence. Then, Mustafa Pektemek sealed the victory for the visitors with a well-placed injury-time header.
