Playing mostly with reserves and newcomers, Beşiktaş defeated their Third Divison visitors 3-1 at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium tonight and took another step towards qualification from the group stage.
After an uneventfull half hour, the Black Eagles began to make their presence felt with a couple of close calls and went ahead on 41 minutes through a brilliant header from Captain Necip Uysal.
Sarıyer looked more attacking in the second half but failed to get that equaliser. Then, the young Furkan Yaman slotted it home from just inside the box to give the Black & Whites a two-goal lead. The visitors reduced the deficit on Cemre’s header in the 81th minute, only to see Beşiktaş’ new signing Tolgay Arslan strike back with a low effort from outside the area that nestled in the bottom corner of the net and close the scoring for the night.
