Eagles back to winning ways in Turkish Cup

Adana Demirspor 1-4 Beşiktaş

Despite missing a number of key players, the Black Eagles started their away Ziraat Turkish Cup Group F qualifying game in a blistering fashion and took the lead after 7 minutes on an own goal by Abdülkadir Bardakçı, but the home side struck back 3 minutes later through Özgürcan Özcan and levelled the score. The teams went into the dressing room at the half with a 1-1 draw.

After bringing on Demba Ba and Gökhan Töre, Beşiktaş gained the upper-hand in the second half but had to wait until the 69th minute to go ahead when Demba Ba fired a bullet from 30 yards out that found the top corner of the net and silenced the home crowd. Then the young stopper Atınç Nukan headed home Gökhan Töre’s well-placed cross to make it 3-1 for Beşiktaş. However, the Black Eagles were not yet as Cenk Tosun added another from an 82nd-minute free-kick and closed the scoring for the night.
