Beşiktaş 0-2 Fenerbahçe

With only three minutes into the anxiously-awaited Istanbul derby, the visitors were ahead 1-0 when the Nigerian striker Emmanuel Emenike was left open in front of the net and beat Beşiktaş goalkeeper Tolga Zengin with a low effort. Things got worse for the Black Eagles after Olcay Şahan was sent off with a questionable card on 43 minutes as Fenerbahçe clung to their one-goal lead at the half.
 
While the shorthanded Beşiktaş struggled to find the equaliser throughout the second half, the substitute Moussa Sow added another goal four minutes before the full time to help the cross-town rivals Fenerbahçe to a 2-0 victory at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium.
