The Blacks Eagles started their second Group D game at the Kazan Arena in a determined mood as they rode the hot hands of Chris Lofton and Ryan Broekhoff to take a slim 45-44 lead at the break. Beşiktaş Integral struggled to find baskets after the restart, but thanks to a string of points by Jajuan Johnson managed to remain ahead, 62-57, heading to the fourth quarter. The Russian side dominated the final stanza and put together a late rally that sent the game into the overtime with a 78-78 tie.
 
However, the hot-shooting Lofton teamed up with John Holland in the extra five minutes and kept connecting from all over to court to ensure that the home team did not steal the show from Beşiktaş Integral Forex. Chris Lofton finished with a game-high 32 points while Jajuan Johnson racked up 21 and Ryan Broekhoff had 17 points.
